Using my many years of working as a Veterinary Nurse and coaching clients with their pet’s behavioural issues, I want to give you that vision of what it would be like with a cat or dog that feels happier and less anxious.

I actively listen to you, understand the issue you have with your pet and then formulate a plan to successfully manage the behavioural problem. I will then ensure you are well supported with regular check-ins to ensure you are going in the right direction.

I value your trust so I am qualified with a Masters Degree in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling, FULLY insured and DBS checked so be rest assured you are in safe hands to give you the best, up to date knowledge.

Get to know me a little better…

I love all things animal related with a passion and enthusiasm for learning new skills especially with animal behaviour. I recently taught my cat how to sit on command! I have a young family who I love spending time with, however when not cooking, cleaning and picking up lego off the floor (which trust me, really hurts when you step on it!!), I like to play the flute, watch TV and read.

Why pick me over all the other providers?

I want to help your dog to stop lunging at passers by, barking excessively, destroying your house when you leave them alone, eating their own faeces, and stop your cat inappropriately urinating or pooing in odd places or whatever the problem may be because I know how it feels. I felt the same when my cat, Thomas started defecating and urinating on the floor and up walls in my house.

I, like you, went straight to the internet to search for a person who might be able to help me and was faced with tons of people – who do I turn to who will be able to help me? Who is trustworthy and has all the credentials in order to know what they are doing? Who will understand the issue and not judge me for what things I have done previously to help with the situation whatever they may be?

I am here to help and guide you when you are dealing with a stressful situation. You can be rest assured that I am trustworthy and have those credentials in order to know what I am doing. Due to the industry not being regulated, unfortunately anyone can call themselves a 'behaviourist'. The Animal Behaviour Training Council (ABTC) are trying to change this by having trusted organisations such as the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) as members to regulate the industry.

I am a provisional member* of this association (APBC) gaining the practical experience necessary to be assessed as a Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB) and therefore become a Full Member of the APBC. I am bound by their code of conduct so you can be safe in the knowledge that I am upholding their core values to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare are maintained and always acting in the best interest of your pet. You can be assured that I will understand the issue and not judge you for the things that you have done previously to help with the situation whatever it may be. As I am bound by the APBC code of conduct and regulations, I will need your vet to say its ok for me to work with you and your pet (see for vets page).

Rebuilding your relationship and reconnecting with your pet is at the heart of what I do.

I believe in hard work, honesty, timeliness and determination along with offering you a pleasurable and satisfying experience to work with me. If these are your values too, click below to see how we can work together.
