Dog Behavioural Support in Oxford and Online

A brown dog with a pink nose is sitting in a gray pet bed, partially covered with a gray blanket. The blanket has a leather patch that says 'VET'S DETAIL.' A potted plant is nearby, and a wall outlet is visible in the background.

Understanding Your Dog. Supporting You. Transforming Life at Home.

When your dog’s behaviour becomes stressful — whether it’s barking, pulling on the lead, anxiety, reactivity, or growling — it can be hard to know where to start. If you’re specifically struggling with separation-related issues, you can click here for dedicated support.

You might feel frustrated, guilty, or even a bit lost. You love your dog, but something just isn’t working. You’re not alone in that.

If you’re unsure whether behaviour support is the right next step for your dog, I’ve written a short guide that explains when it may be helpful to work with a dog behaviourist and the signs to look out for:

When should a dog see a behaviourist?

I’ll work with you to understand what’s really going on, help your dog feel calmer and more secure, and guide you through clear, kind, science-based steps that make everyday life easier for both of you.

I’m a Registered Veterinary Nurse and qualified behaviourist based in Oxford, and I support you in teaching your dog to feel safe, confident, and understood — without judgement, pressure, or quick fixes.

  • Foundation Behavioural Support Package (Video Consultation) - £299

A calm, supportive starting point to help you better understand your dog’s behaviour and what may help moving forwards.

If walks feel stressful, home life feels tense, or you’re starting to feel emotionally exhausted by your dog’s behaviour, you are not to blame and it can be hard to know what to do next for the best. Many owners contact me after trying online advice that hasn’t helped, feeling unsure what to do next.

This package is designed to help you understand why your dog is behaving this way not just how to stop it so you can begin moving forwards with clearer understanding and practical next steps tailored to your dog and your home life.

    • Anxiety-related behaviours or sudden behaviour changes

    • Owners wanting professional guidance and clarity without ongoing support included within the package

    Veterinary behaviour report

A written report shared with your vet to support collaborative care where appropriate.

    Important to know

This package focuses on assessment, explanation, and professional guidance.

It does not include follow-up sessions or ongoing support. If additional support would be beneficial, this can be discussed separately following assessment.

    What happens next?

If you’d like to move forwards, simply click the button below to secure your session.

After payment, you’ll be able to choose a suitable appointment time and complete a detailed behaviour questionnaire. This allows me to fully understand your dog’s history, environment, and any contributing factors before we meet.

Once I’ve reviewed your questionnaire, I’ll confirm your appointment and next steps so our time together can be as focused and supportive as possible.

If I feel a different approach would better support you and your dog, I’ll let you know before the assessment goes ahead.

    Not sure yet?

If you’d prefer to talk things through first, you’re welcome to arrange a complimentary 15-minute ‘Get To Know Me Call’.

A happy dog sitting in a lush green forest with trees in the background.

I work with you in three easy, simple steps:

  • Understanding You and Your Dog

I start by gathering information about you and your dog. This includes a detailed behaviour questionnaire and an assessment session, online or in person where available. This helps me understand what’s happening, what may be contributing to the behaviour, and what support is most appropriate. Where needed, I’ll also request a veterinary referral on your behalf.

  • Clear Guidance and Next Steps

After the assessment, I’ll explain what’s going on in a clear, practical way. You’ll receive professional guidance tailored to your dog and your situation. This will be provided as a written summary or a structured behaviour plan, depending on the package you choose.

  •  Support that Matches Your Needs

Some situations can be taken forward using the guidance from the assessment alone. Where ongoing support is appropriate, I’ll continue to work with you through follow-up sessions and ongoing contact, depending on the level of support selected.
